It’s going to be a busy busy week in the life of a couple of the LadyGeos, so I thought I’d start us out with a little Earth beauty.

Becoming a geologist, which I sort of fell into, has changed the way I look at the world. I would always have found these images beautiful and surreal. But understanding the processes behind them makes it even more awe-inspiring.

Is there anything more beautiful and surreal than the Earth?
