Meet our new guest blogger, Anna Wieser! Check back on Monday for Anna’s guest post

Anna is a geoarchaeology PhD candidate who semi-accidentally started working full time as a software tester a few years ago. She holds a BA and a MA in Anthropology. Her primary interests are being on or near water, thinking about how to remotely study archaeological landscapes and how those landscapes interface with the modern environment (heyo Covid, timely much?), experimenting with her air fryer, glitter crafting for friends and coworkers, and finding “free time” between job and dissertation.

Leila is a geoarchaeology PhD candidate who never expected to find herself in geology or in the Midwest. She holds an MS in geology, and a BA in anthropology. Her primary interests are thinking about past landscapes and the people who lived on them, outreach/informal education, statement jewelry, and perfumes no graduate student should own.
