Bio

Leila is a geoarchaeology PhD student who never expected to find herself in geology or in the Midwest. She also holds an MS in geology, and a BA in anthropology. Her primary interests are thinking about past landscapes and the people who lived on them, outreach/informal education, statement jewelry, and perfumes no graduate student should own. Her favorite color is gold glitter and she is often the only woman at an airport bar.
